Cycle between two world-famous Austrian cities, from the beautiful alpine surroundings of Innsbruck to the elegant streets of Salzburg. Most of the easy cycling on this tour takes place on dedicated cycle routes along valley floors and riverside paths, where you can stop to admire the breathtaking scenery of the snow-covered mountains. Cycle through the pretty Ziller valley and visit Europe’s highest waterfall at Krimml, continue along the River Salzach, stopping in Zell am See for a refreshing swim in the lake.

Pedal north and reach an Ice Age gorge and one of Europe's largest cave systems near Lofer, before crossing into Germany and Bavaria's National Park of Berchtesgaden. The final ride of this tour takes you through flowering meadows, made famous by The Sound of Music, before you reach Salzburg where the storybook old town still looks much the same as when Mozart lived there 250 years ago.
