Flying Dutchman

First launched in 1903, the Flying Dutchman is a beautiful sailing schooner which sails between the islands on the West coast of Scotland. You'll enjoy an authentic sailing experience aboard the Dutchman - you can sit beside Captain Klass at the wheel and even steer the vessel for a while. On board, you will find a cosy dining room in the saloon and even some bowsprit netting which you can recline on!

About the Flying Dutchman

This traditional schooner is 39 metres long, 6.5 metres wide, and can accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 cabins.

In the afternoon you can relax in comfort while making the most of the boat's facilities. Enjoy a drink in the lounge with fellow passengers, recline on the boat's bowsprit and even take the opportunity to sit with the captain and steer the boat or give a helping hand in hoisting the sails.
