Built in 1960 as a freight ship and now a beautiful three-masted schooner, the Mare fan Fryslan is 54m long, 7.2m wide and can accommodate up to 40 passengers.

You’ll begin your day with a delicious continental breakfast buffet, which you are also able to pack as a picnic lunch.
You’ll have daily briefings from your guide to help you make the most of your cycling days. In the afternoon, there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy some of the ship’s excellent facilities, and you’ll even have the chance to help with the rigging. Coffee and tea are available all day free of charge and other beverages are available from the bar.
In the evening you can look forward to a three course dinner served by the chef, with special meals available for vegetarians and guests with moderate diet wishes. You can tuck in to your meal either in the beautifully decorated restaurant or outdoors on the upper deck, where there is plenty of sitting area.
Round off the day by retiring to your cosy and comfortable cabin, each with a porthole window for you to take in views of the sea.
