Dresden

Pedal along the peaceful banks of the River Vltava and Elbe between two of Europe’s most charismatic cities, passing dramatic mountain scenery and Bohemian towns. The magical streets and golden spires of Prague make a magnificent first impression and it’s well worth spending an extra day here to explore the cobbled alleys and secret courtyards.

As you cycle from the Czech Republic to Germany, you’ll ride past diverse landscapes of green mountains, sandstone towers, watery meadows and terraced vineyards. There are plenty of places to stop along the way, with charming spa towns lining the riverbanks and story-book castles crowning the clifftops. Seeing the spires and domes of Dresden come into view at the end of your tour is a memory that will stay with you.
