Sail between the volcanic Aeolian islands on a traditional Turkish Caique, exploring five of the islands on leisurely, guided cycle tours and guided walks on this wonderfully varied tour. During your rides, you’ll have time to swim off the beaches, visit local towns and taste Aeolian specialities like granita, capers and sweet Malvasia wine. A relaxing trip with plenty of variety, you’ll alternate between cycling, walking and sightseeing from the boat.
Each island holds a new surprise, as you ride past the smoking crater of Vulcano, cycle along Panarea’s car-free streets and pedal through Salina’s fragrant vineyards. Your most impressive holiday snaps, however, are likely to be of Stomboli’s firework-like eruptions at the Sciara del Fuoco viewpoint. Your two longest cycling days involve stunning coast-to-coast rides of Salina and Lipari – as the largest island, Lipari makes a great end to your week, with its buzzing town and white-sand beaches.
