Why we love this tour

"I loved cycling through Turkey and this stretch of the Turquoise Coast was an absolute highlight. The colours of the sea, the rocks and the forests are so vibrant and the landscape is breathtaking. The views on the walk through the Saklikent Canyon are unforgettable."

The Lycian Coast of southwest Turkey is an area steeped in history and blessed with incredible natural beauty. Explore the rugged ‘Turquoise Coast’ from Bodrum to Fethiye, staying aboard a traditional Turkish Gulet, your home for the week. You’ll travel between picturesque coves, traditional fishing villages and historical ruins nestled in the hills. The tombs carved from the cliffs at Dalyan and the stunning Saklikent Canyon are just two of countless highlights on this fascinating tour.

Cycle on quiet secondary roads, most of which are sealed, taking you along the coast and inland through the hills. Expect some steep climbs but fantastic views at every turn. the E-bikes will help you with the climbs, or there’s always the option to spend a day or two on the boat, soaking up the sun and swimming in the crystal clear sea.

Please note: This tour also runs in reverse order from Göcek to Bodrum on alternate weeks. Please see 'Dates and Prices' section below.

Please note that this tour is an E-bike tour.

What is a ‘Moderate to Challenging’ cycle holiday?

Generally in hilly areas, with numerous climbs, downhill stretches and longer daily distances. Moderate to challenging cycling is suitable for regular and experienced cyclists with a good level of fitness.

We are always on hand to offer advice, so please give us a call if you wish to chat about the tour’s grading.

Can I stay on the boat during the day and not cycle?

Yes, you can relax on the boat or explore when you arrive at each destination instead of cycling.

Can the boat cater for special dietary requirements?

Please advise us of any special requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan or lactose free-diet) at time of booking. We will notify the boat operator in advance (supplement on board for a gluten-free, vegan or lactose free-diet). Understandably, kitchen galley space is limited and not large enough to guarantee that the food can be prepared completely separately to cater for coeliacs.

How much space will I have in my cabin?

There is limited space in the cabins, so pack light and take a soft suitcase.
